If you’re a business owner, what message does your headshot convey to your clients? Do you even have a headshot or are you just a name without a face to your website and social media visitors?
Allowing people to put a face to a name has never been more important in the world of business. Whether you simply have a website or a blog, or your presence extends to facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, visitors want to engage with the person they’re interacting with, and they can’t do that if all they are presented with is a head-shaped silhouette when they visit your site.
However, it’s not just a case of getting a quick “snap” done on your own or your friend’s camera. If you want to project the right business image, then you need a professionally-taken portrait – one which sends out the right message to your audience.
And that doesn’t have to mean a stuffy portrait taken in a studio either. As you can see from the examples below, all these images were taken outdoors, and consequently they have a much more relaxed feel to them, whilst conveying something of the personality of each of the subjects.
If you’re a small-business owner and would like to book a session with me, why not take advantage of my special corporate portrait package during January and February only? This includes a 1 hour session in Guildford, one outfit change (useful if you’d like both formal and informal looks for different media) and a CD of 5 high-resolution images. The usual cost is £165.00, but if you book before the 29th February you only pay £148.50. (If you would prefer to be photographed at an alternative location which isn’t in Guildford, then travelling expenses will apply.)
