Photographing teenagers and young adults is one of my favourite kinds of work, and this session last October was no exception.
I’d met up with Georgina and her mum over coffee the previous weekend to discuss the styling of the shoot, and what sort of clothes she wanted to wear for her session.
She has the most beautiful, soulful eyes, and I knew that I wanted to draw attention to these in the photographs.
The following Saturday, we got together at about 9.30 as I wanted to make the most of the wonderful autumn light, which is really like no other and is fantastic for creating beautiful portraits. It was a lovely morning despite us having to battle with some strong winds, and we had a great time wandering by the river Wey and across to Shalford Meadows. I was really pleased with the shots I took, and Georgina and her mum were thrilled with them too.
