I loved photographing the delightful fashion blogger and singer, Fiona Ufton last month. Originally from Ireland, Fiona blogs under the name of Fifibaggins, modelling her favourite outfits from many different designers, and interspersing her posts with poetry and lyrics. She’s also the lead singer with Alter Ego – so a multi-talented lady!
To say it was cold is an understatement, and Fiona nearly froze in some of her outfits as she posed bravely at various locations in Guildford during our session; even I was cold under all my layers! Still, it was the perfect excuse for dashing into cafes to warm up with coffee.
Selecting suitable backdrops for her three outfits was relatively easy – I’d earmarked the blue doors earlier as an obvious choice for the white sequinned shirt by Natalie B Coleman, we used GLive and the town bridge for the delicate and floaty Isabel Marant dress, and the beautiful autumnal colours around the river were just perfect for her gorgeous Emma Manley gold shirt and Antipodium leopard print coat.
Here are just some of my favourite shots from our session. Thank you Fiona – it was a pleasure to photograph you.
