Family Portraits, Egham, Surrey

I first did a family portrait session for this family when their little boy was about 6 weeks old, so was delighted when his mum contacted me earlier this year to say that he now had a baby sister, and that they’d like to book another session with me.

The weather hadn’t been great, but the day I visited was lovely and warm, and we started out with some shots in the garden, before moving  indoors.  Both of them were so well behaved, and little sister was completely adorable, although I think her brother was more interested in using his mum’s iPhone, as you can see!

The only tricky moment came when we tried to get a picture of the two of them together, sitting on the bed – at first she was having none of it!  However, after a few goes, mum finally succeeded by moving her very slowly next to her brother so that she hardly noticed!  I’m so pleased we didn’t give up, as that last picture is priceless and was a definite favourite with all of us.  They chose a lovely multi-aperture frame to match the one they had last time, and some mounted gift prints.
