A Sussex Walk – Amberley to Parham House

Last Sunday we visited the beautiful village of Amberley in Sussex, with its thatched cottages and old-fashioned English country gardens.  From here, we walked to the Elizabethan Parham House for tea, cake and a stroll around the house and gardens.  I could have left my camera behind – the weather was very hot and even a small SLR gets heavy when you’re walking.  However, I’m glad I didn’t, as I always end up regretting it.
